Our support and installation procedures follow best practice guidelines set out in ITIL Service Management best practice.  This means that we employ Change Management to ensure that changes to your infrastructure required to resolve Incidents that have been raised with us, or due to other business pressures you may encounter, are implemented using a strategy which ensures that any impact to other systems is avoided; or where unavoidable, business impact is minimised.

Typically an Incident or Support Call will require a quick fix, to enable people to carry on working.  Sometimes, however, a quick fix doesn’t necessarily ensure that the same Incident does not occur again.  In a case where an Incident reoccurs, our effort moves from simply re-applying any identified fix, to developing a solution that prevents the Incident from occurring in the first place.  This procedure is known as Problem Management, and is core to our IT Support strategy.
